This charming country kitchen piece is made from wood with turned supports, shaped feet and two pierced tiers designed to hold eggs. It has a lovely aged patina, with darker areas of wear and staining from use, giving it an authentic farmhouse look. The stand holds up to twelve eggs, with six holes to each tier. It is sturdy despite the visible wood splits and can still be used to display eggs, as well as being an attractive decorative piece for a period kitchen, dresser, pantry, farmhouse interior, shop display or vintage kitchenalia collection. Condition Used antique condition with age-related wear, marks, staining and darkening to the wood. There are some splits to the turned supports and areas of old wear, as shown in the photos, but the stand remains solid and suitable for display use.
