Clinique Happy Eau de Parfum is a 30ml floral-fruity fragrance for women — a bright, optimistic signature scent that pairs sparkling citrus with delicate florals and a soft musky-mimosa base. One of the most beloved feel-good fragrances of the modern era, it has been a long-running favourite since its 1998 launch. About Clinique Happy Clinique is the long-established American beauty house known for its dermatologist-developed approach to skincare and beauty. Clinique Happy, launched in 1998 and composed by perfumers Jean Claude Delville and Rodrigo Flores-Roux, was conceived around the simple but powerful idea of bottling joy. The result is one of the brand's defining women's fragrances and a quietly enduring signature scent for fans of fresh, citrus-led perfumery. Fragrance notes Top: ruby red grapefruit, mandarin, bergamot Heart: Hawaiian wedding flower, morning dew orchid Base: mimosa, transparent wood accord, musk How it wears The fragrance opens with a sparkling burst of citrus — ruby red grapefruit, mandarin and bergamot give an immediate impression of sunshine and optimism. The heart turns delicately floral, with the soft, slightly tropical character of Hawaiian wedding flower and morning dew orchid creating a fresh, romantic core. As it dries down, soft mimosa, clean musk and a transparent wood accord wrap the composition into a gently powdery, slightly skin-close finish. Who it's for Clinique Happy is for women who love bright, joyful perfumery — wearers who enjoy citrus-led floral signatures, fans of the wider Clinique fragrance line and those building a feel-good daily bottle. It is also one of the most popular gift fragrances in its category, prized for its broad appeal and instantly recognisable bottle. How and when to wear it This is a true daytime, year-round fragrance and is at its most flattering through spring and summer when the citrus-and-floral opening really sings. Spray onto pulse points — the inside of the wrists and the base of the throat — and avoid rubbing the wrists together so the grapefruit-mandarin opening can develop. The 30ml format is also a smart, handbag-friendly size.
