Product Overview CRL Prima 5 degree Pre-Set Hinges are designed for use with 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) thick tempered safety glass. All door installations using these 5° pre-set hinges will require the use of both, the #1 Pin & the #2 Pin hinges per opening, one for the top and the other for the bottom. The #1 Pivot Pin Model is to be used at the top left or bottom right of the door. The #2 Pivot Pin Model is to be used at the top right or bottom left of the door. They can then be positioned with the options described herein. The 5 degree Pivot Pins allow the door to close 5 degree further into the shower enclosure. This is especially helpful when closing the door tightly against a strike jamb. These hinges may be mounted floor and ceiling, or into our Deluxe Header System. Using two hinges with 5/16" to 3/8" glass (8 to 10 mm) the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
