Sour Curry Soup is a refreshing light dish. Sour Curry Soup or as Thai’s refer to it as Kang Som is the most famous southern Thailand dish. The dish is popular throughout Thailand, especially in the south. A very important ingredient necessary for the dish is the Sour curry paste. The tangy paste is made of pounded red chillies and flavoured shrimp paste. The paste contains tamarind. Tamarind gives the soup its sour, authentic taste and the red chillies give the dish its spicy flavour. Ingredients: Dried Red Chilli (39%), Shallot, Salt, Sugar, Tamarind Juice (5%).
