Vignobles Bourceau Folie Rouge Bordeaux Malbec 2021 Organic and Vegan Wine This rich Malbec boasts a deep purple hue, velvety tannins, and notes of violet, blackberry, and tobacco. The vines, over 50 years old and grown in clay-limestone soil, produce rare grapes in the Bordeaux region. Before the 10-month concrete tank aging process, the wine undergoes cold maceration and a lengthy pumping-over during alcoholic fermentation for optimal fruit extraction. Situated in Berson, between Blaye and Bourg, Vignobles Bourceau has been a family-owned and operated business since 1835 located in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Elegant like classical ballet, lighter and fresher on the palate than the more robust Argentinian Malbecs. Dare a little pure malbec madness! The choice to age in concrete rather than wood gives an attractive purity and directness to the delicious fruit expression. Grape: 100% Malbec Aging potential 2024-2029
