Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum is a 50ml floral-gourmand fragrance for women — one of the most iconic and best-loved feminine fragrance signatures of the modern era. A richly opulent floral bouquet with a warm amber-vanilla base, all composed by an all-star team of perfumers in the brand's iconic grenade-shaped flacon. About Flowerbomb Viktor & Rolf is the celebrated Dutch couture house known for its sculptural, slightly theatrical fashion and equally distinctive perfumery. Flowerbomb, launched in 2005 by perfumers Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaim, Domitille Michalon Bertier and Dominique Ropion, was conceived as an "explosive" floral signature — designed to deliver maximum femininity in a single bottle. The grenade-shaped flacon has become an iconic dressing-table piece. Fragrance notes Top: tea, bergamot, osmanthus Heart: peony, Centifolia rose, jasmine, freesia, orchid Base: patchouli, amber, vanilla, musk How it wears The fragrance opens fresh and slightly green — bergamot and osmanthus give an immediate impression of polished elegance. The heart explodes into a generous floral bouquet of peony, Centifolia rose, jasmine and freesia, creating the richly opulent floral character that defines Flowerbomb. As it dries down, dark patchouli, warm amber, soft vanilla and clean musk wrap the composition into a slightly gourmand, slightly sensual finish that lingers strongly on skin. Who it's for Flowerbomb is for women who love confident, slightly opulent floral perfumery — wearers who enjoy floral-gourmand compositions, fans of luxury designer fragrance and those building a special-occasion or signature scent. It is one of the most popular gift fragrances in the world, prized for its broad appeal and instantly recognisable bottle. How and when to wear it This is a versatile day-to-evening fragrance and is at its most flattering through autumn and winter when the warm amber-vanilla base really comes through. Spray onto pulse points — wrists, the inside of the elbows and the base of the throat. Flowerbomb is a strong-projecting fragrance — a lighter hand goes a long way.
