Vintage Fairy Soap with Box Green Bar Hedley 2D Off Display c1940s Original vintage Fairy household soap by Thomas Hedley & Co, Newcastle upon Tyne. This example retains its original cardboard box with bold green, yellow and red graphics advertising “Pure Soap with Olive Oil” and the “2D Off” promotion. The green soap bar is present and embossed FAIRY to one side and HEDLEY with the walking child motif to the reverse. An excellent survivor with strong visual impact, ideal for display, advertising collections, kitchenalia interiors or period TV and film prop use. Increasingly hard to find complete with box and soap together. ConditionGood vintage condition. Box shows expected age wear including edge rubbing, small splits and creasing consistent with mid-20th century cardboard packaging. Colours remain strong and legible.
