These delicate blue flowers (occasionally pink) are easy to grow in beds, pots, or along paving edges. A short annual that flowers in the first year, reaching about 40cm with blooms from April to October. Each tube contains 20 seedballs, providing coverage for 1 square metre or 3–5 medium pots. Scatter in spring or autumn for best results. Made in North London from UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost, and chilli powder. The clay shields seeds from wildlife; once water penetrates, seeds germinate with help from nutrients in the ball. Chilli powder deters slugs and snails as the ball breaks down. RHS-listed for pollinators.
