Knitted from 'unloved' British wool, these Wool Pots are a fabulous alternative to plastic plant pots. As well as replacing plastic pots which would invariably be thrown away, these simple pots also help farmers by using their unwanted wool. Whether you need 9cm or 13cm pots or everything in between, this stretchy little bundle has you covered! Simply fill with compost, plant your seeds or cuttings, water and watch them grow! When your seedlings are ready to be planted in your garden or transferred to a larger pot, make a hole in the soil and pop the whole pot in, being careful to leave the top of the pot proud of the soil. This will then keep slimy pests away from your plant as wool is a natural slugs and snails deterrent. The Wool Pots also aid watering as they retain moisture. They will start to break down quickly once planted, adding nutrients to the soil within 6-7 weeks. If you're using them inside or in a greenhouse where they are being watered from the bottom, they can last for several months. You'll start to see the roots poking through so you'll know when they're ready to move outside! *Please note that just like the sheep they come from, colours will vary from creams to greys and all things in between! We are therefore unable to guarantee which shades you'll receive.
